Burkett Park offers many activities including the Hilbers Playground, located adjacent to the park pavilion. The park pavillion and grill can be rented by calling the city during normal business hours.
At the west end of the park, the Archer City Swimming Pool is a local "hot" spot during the summer. It offers a 2,500 squre foot swimming pool, diving board, tanning deck, concessions, and a covered patio with a grill.
Pool hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, except Tuesday, which offers extended Family Swim from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. On Sundays, the pool is open 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Nature Trail offers hiking with natural scenery. The entrance descends into the local landscape near the entrance to the Miniature Golf Course, across from the pool entrance.
The Archer City Lake has a fishing pier and covered picnic tables and grill. There is lake-front fishing, but swimming is not allowed.
RV camping is available in Burkett Park. Contact the city for more information.

Archer City Visitors Center
The Visitors Center is operated by volunteers and managed by the Archer City Growth and Development 4B Board. It is housed in the former Walsh Brothers gas station and offers murals, historical info, small park, Branded the Horse, and more.

Aulds Classic Cars Private Collection
This is a private classic car collection only open to the public on special occasions set by the owners.
Even though the collection is not often open to the public, passersby can look through the glass to view a colorful array of classic cars and memorabilia. The well-lit space is especially lovely at night.
